PLANNING STATUS
In September 2021, Ashbourne Beech / RER LONDON received a resolution to grant planning permission for the redevelopment of the existing Asda store to provide a new District Centre. Comprising 1,972 residential apartments (private and affordable), a brand new Asda supermarket, 70,000 sq ft of retail / commercial space, a community hub, a new primary school, over four acres of public open space including a new public square and a number of community benefits such as transport improvements (new bus interchange), road and cycle improvements and improved links to Mudchute Park and Farm.
